I changed the plugs on my FJR a couple of days ago and it took about 45 minutes-- except for the rear tank bolt and the T-bar bolts, I used the bike's tool kit for shits and grins and took my time. Maybe it should be considered and adventure-tourer? <_< :p

And this, according to Kawasaki, needs to happen every 7,500 miles?!
That bites man. Seems that Suzuki and Kawasaki didn't really put a lot of thought into regular maintenance. I'm supposed to get the plugs replaced and throttle body sync'd every 7,500 and valve clearance checked every 15,000. I feel your pain, because getting to mine are not easy either. What makes it even worse is that the Yamaha FZ6, the one I wanted to buy, apparently is easier to do all of that and doesn't need it as frequently either.
