I hope I'm not too late. I sent an e-mail asking for a set of Glenda lights and a flashlight.

I could have used these on my WR450F on the second day in Copper Canyon when we were riding in the dark.

There were a group of guys from the forum on this ride if you don't know about it and if you're interested I am doing a ride report over on ADV Rider.

You're in!

And thanks for the link on your ride report.

Time flies, doesn't it? I just noticed we're coming into the last two days of November this week so I thought I'd bump this thread in case you're thinking about it and lost track of time too.

There's been a lot of discussion here about what lights are "best," with plenty of opinions. Just a reminder, there are no other dimmable LED lights, an advantage when you want to ride with them on in traffic and when you want to conserve your electrons. You'll be very impressed with the quality of these when you see how they're made.

Plus, if you need brackets for your lights, remember the under-the-mirror mounts for the Kristas (the big ones) will be included in this group buy at no extra charge. These are STURDY stainless steel brackets, too (powder coated). Much tougher than the Top Gun brackets I have, or any other I've seen (and I HAVE seen the new brackets out at Glenn's shop). That by itself is a pretty good saving. The smaller lights mounted on the forks/fender have always had brackets included. Two more days!

Thanks, Mike. I was going to give this thread a quick bump to remind everyone that there are only a couple of days left. The vast majority of the orders have come from folks right here on this forum but activity has picked up a bunch from my cross-post at ADVrider in the last couple of days. It's easy enough to tell the difference...the vast majority of the orders so far have been for FJR's and BMW GS's. :D

To reiterate what's been mentioned, the Glenda lights and the Krista lights both come with model specific brackets and installation instructions. You'll be very pleased with the quality, the light output, and the dimming feature.

Cheers!

Hi Everyone,

I would like to thank all of you for your interest and orders for our lights. The response has been very good.

We are very proud to make our lights right here in the USA. There is no tougher or better constructed

light available anywhere in the world. In these difficult economic times, it can be tough to

appropriate the funds needed for various high-end farkles. This group buy has made it a little easier for some of you

to take the plunge and get our lights. While some of you may not order, your comments and questions about our lights are appreciated.

Some of you expressed frustration about how to mount Kristas to an FJR. I was not able to make an arrangement to offer a 3rd party light bracket, so we made our own.

I just finished the final bending operation yesterday on our CNC bender and I am pleased with the results. Off to powder coat we

go today.

In response to questions about the brackets, I will include a set of our Powder coated Stainless Steel FJR brackets at no extra charge.

These will be $60 a pair as of tomorrow. These brackets are very strong and will not rust even if a rock (or tip over) chips the paint.

While this offer may have been secretly divulged..(who could have done that?) I want to officially offer the brackets to the forum members.

I have also been asked about a protective cover for Kristas. Design of the injection mold tool has already been started. I will look at the cost

and try to offer it at a reasonable price.

Thanks again everybody and feel free to contact me directly with any questions at [email protected].

Best regards,

Glenn Stasky

President

PS

Be sure to follow our LED Racetrack safety lights that will be used at the "25 hours of Thunderhill" this coming weekend in Willows, CA.

Clearwater will have our Safety warning light system in use during the longest duration automobile road race in America. Stop by and say

Hi everyone-

Thanks to everyone for your response to this Group Buy. Also, a big thanks to Glenn for offering this to the FJR forum community.

I'll iron out all of the final details with Glenn and Lorett @ Clearwater in the next day or two and send everyone an email detailing how to place your orders. I can state without reservation that you'll love your new lights. I know that I enjoy mine a great deal.

Cheers!

Glenn's a great guy and has supported the FJR community in many ways. :)

I want to mention (even if he won't) that the last two years, even with sucking economy, he has donated a number of light products to multiple FJRforum events

He took a personal interest in Tyler during her accident recovery and joined in our emotional and fiscal support.

Now about forgiveness for drinking of the Beemer kool aide unannounced, well that's to be determined

Hi all-

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Group Buy. Everyone should receive an email shortly which contains ordering instructions. Thanks again for participating and making this a success.

Cheers!
If you don't see it check your spam folder! That is where Yahoo put mine. :glare:

Hi All, I called CW yesterday just to make sure they had my payment and address and stuff and learned they have a slight delay in getting some components for the Krista's. They are working through it but delivery might be slightly delayed. No worries though, just passing it along. Nice folks at CW. Can't wait to mount up the Krista's.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't need mine right away, since there is 6 inches of snow on the ground here, but I am anxious to seeing how they look.

Received an E-Mail from Clearwater yesterday:

"Good Afternoon:

Thank you for your Clearwater order, however we are currently back-ordered on required hardware that has caused a delay in shipping. We are told that we can expect these parts next week. We will ship your lights immediately upon the receipt of the hardware.

We are very sorry for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Happy Holidays!"

I am glad it is winter and I am not in that much of a hurry. Good for them for keeping us in the loop, but I still want them....just because I want them.

Don't know about anyone else who ordered the Krista's, but I received an E-Mail the other day that mine were on the way.
