Clutch and brake lever dial settings?

My '03 brake lever has 6 settings. Needed a new lever and went to nearest m/c dealer (Suzuki) and after resolving the "What model Suzuki do you have" with the parts-guy with "A Nissin is a Nissin" from me, he agreed to look. Note: best to do this mid-week and in the morning -- when they're not too busy. Anyway he proudly returned with what appeared to be an exact replica -- with the exception of one more setting and a little gap about half-way down the lever-blade to help it remain half there if it's put in a compromising position again. I think I like the shape/bend of the blade better, too. And....it was significantly less expensive than the Yamaha part. :yahoo:

I used to have them at 3. I moved them (all the way in) to 5.

My mitts rest more comfortable on the levers with them close.....and I get 1/1000000000th of a second faster reaction times.
