I had Gerbings insoles, but it's the tops of your toes and foot that get cold.... heated socks much better. Very thin sock or no sock, with the heated socks on next and a merino wool sock over that......... however, it helps to have a half-size larger boot so everything is not so compressed... keep the balls of your feet on the footpegs so they're up out of the colder breeze. Or ride one of those POS Gen 1's, I heard they have heat.

Nice ... But $$$

I wear icon reign boots and ride regularly down into the low 30'S with thin synthetic socks and am warm. For 169 bucks they seem like a bargain.

Frey Daytona - that's the ticket. Have tried every kind of boot out there and still had cold feet. Bought the the Daytonas a +1 seize. Plenty room for extra socks but haven't had to go there. Problem is totally solved.

It's funny...I been a forum member for 9 years and every year about this time, some of you mooks start threads about cold weather gear, electric socks, heated grips, wired jackets and vests and chemical heat suppositories..

After 9 years, I still don't know WTF you guys are talkin' about! :finger:

Pricey! Cost more than SIDIs. But they do come in a narrow. That's a plus.

And yet another mystery.....
What is this "season" you speak of?

Oh, I'm sure you know.

It's the season where all the blue hairs fly down en masse to your state and frolick at the airports, supermarkets, beauty salons, and try to pick you up at the local Sizzler bar.

+1 on the Sidi Canyon Goretex boots. I have had them for about 6 years now and they have never disappointed in any way.

If your serious about keeping your feet warm with no electrics; silk socks, wool socks and Sorel's. If your feet start sweating, your done for (it doesn't take long!).
