I can't say about the actual color, but I can tell you about color. Color is determined by the absorption/reflection of light. Depending on the materials used, different rays of light will be absorbed, others will be reflected. The brain will make a interpretation of color based on the rays of light received by the eye. Depending on light source (natural, flourescent, mercury vapor, etc.), the color can appear to be different due to the different light waves available for absorption/reflection in the material. Also, if the material (paint) contains mica or "pearls" it will change appearance due to angle of view. Pearls contain suspended materials that act as randomly-placed mirrors and reflect different light rays depending on the angle. So, pictures of color have a very hard time duplicating actuall color. This is why paint is sold using "chips." Depending on a lot of things like lighting, angle, and even computer screen resolution, pictures may or may not be close to the actuall real-life color.
