I got my headlight modulator yesterday. It took 3 minutes to hook it up and test it, and an hour to figure how and where to mount it. I'm still not overjoyed with my final results. If anyone has come up with a quick simple solution to mounting it, the info would be greatly appreciated.

Nope. The blue thingy is still visible on my installation, and I can't figure out any better way to "hide" the guts. I have all the wires tied back out of the way, but you still see the blue thing. It's not really a unit for the cleanest install in the world, is it. I suppose longer wires that would allow you to hide it more would be nice.

That's pretty much my situation too. When the temperature around here drops about 20 degrees I will spend some time looking for a better solution.

Come to think of it, I may just cover the blue pot with black electrical tape, just to cammoflauge it. I couldn't find a suitable place to "recess" it. So I think I'll just cover it. It sticks out like a sore thumb. To me, anyway. Not that I'm looking down there much while riding. But it does bug me a little.

Everything is behind the edges of the black panels, but the blue thing still shows. Just didn't want you to think anything was hanging out, because it isn't. Just visible.

My blue thingy is almost out of sight behind the panel on the right side. You can only see about 10% of it. How do you have your sensor mounted? Right now mine is tie wrapped so it just sticks up about 1" and lies up against the right side panel. It seems to be working fine. Do you know if the sensor is a component connected to wires inside the covering or is it just an 18" light pipe made of fibre optics? I don't know if it's worth the hassle to run it up the cables on the triple tree.

I think the sensor is on a wire or bundle, not fiber optic.

I have my sensor out on my rear view mirror right now, zip tied with my XM antenna. Kinda slung out in the breeze. Wires dangling. Trying to find a better solution. That XM antenna is pesky to locate.
