i still haven't received any response from them about a group buy. I'll let everyone know what i hear back. I may not be in however if the seat is only in the "low" position. I'm a pretty tall guy.

Yeah, I've lost interest in the seat since that info was brought forward.

Ordered the smuggler though.

I just ordered the Corbin front seat (unheated) + the Smuggler! I hope it is as comfortable as the Corbin for the GL1800!
