I would love to see this .............. Topped with next century updates to the 2nd Gen Venture Royale bodywork and it would make a serious contender to the touring dominance of the Wing.

Might wind up on my short list too.

The new V4 in a ST would indeed be the bike of my dreams.

But with price and weight of the 09 vmax I'll probably just keep hot rodding my '92. There's a lot of really cool performance parts out there for the old vmax and you get a bike that's truly unique.

Hmmmmm... highly, highly unlikely that Yamaha will put that mill in anything other than the VMax and, possibly, another Star cruiser. I don't see Yamaha stepping outside of its long tradition of "evolutionary not revolutionary" upgrades to any of their bikes, and the FJR platform won't be any exception. Expect another inline 4 (my money is on a 1400cc) in the Gen III FJR in 2010.
