Yikes! Can't believe that's all the damage (visible) to your bike after seeing his! Like everyone else has said, make sure to look for hidden stuff. I guess about the only thing I can add that hasn't been said already, might be to have a shop look at it and tear it apart since his insurance should be footing the bill. Also, keep a sharp eye out on the fork seals to check for leaks frequently if it is found that the forks are deemed "fine".

Glad you weren't hurt, or the other riders!

Did you feel your ABS kick in? Did you max out your braking ability do you think? My recent crash (which I was too big of a ***** to post  ) left me with the feeling that although I *thought* I hit the binders hard, perhaps maybe I didn't squeeze hard enough/fully to perform a maximum quick stop. So, waiting to go pick up the new Feej to practice my quick stops!

Glad to hear you are ok, and good riding to keep the FJR up after the crash. I can't believe he didn't look and see all the lights you have on your rig. At least everyone is ok.

Holler when you want help putting the beast back together.

Glad to hear every1 is OK.

I've seen your bike...if they have to replace anything that includes moving/removing farkles it will cost so much in labor they may just total the bike....

I think the ABS kicked in, It felt like it was skiding I thought I was going to stop in time but It kept going.

Bummer! But I'm glad to hear you and the Feej survived with minimal damage. I just can't get my mind around the concept of a motorcyclist pulling out in fron of another biker?! That's supposed the be the cell phone yacking soccer mom in the mini-van's job! Sounds like it'll all get taken care of though.

Marcus,

Glad you are ok, the damage to the Virago was probably due to all the weight in wiring farkles you have on your bike.

Now we have your number out running down all us old guys........

Seriously good job and glad it will all work out ok.

See ya,

J

Marcus,

I'm glad to hear that your okay. Get your sh*t fixed, so I can come over and ride with all you "Wet" siders. :)

Dave

Regrettable for sure Marcus. The good news here is the outcome, and we’re all most thankful of that good news!

Keep Going!

Dude. Sorry about all that...sounds like Tech Day 2010, the Return, Part II is in order.

Oh man, does that mean I have to pack up again?

Marcus - really sorry to hear about your misadventure but really glad no one seems to have been hurt. Hope you get that puppy looked over & back on the road pronto. I sure wouldn't want you to miss any of your pnw riding weather :)
