Last Fall I met up with Forum Member Greb in central Utah with his SWEET 990 KTM Superduke, and Greb's dad who was on Greb's 08 (same as mine) FJR. He asked if I wanted to swap bikes so he could check out the Audiovox CC on my FJR, and I could ride the KTM.

Being a lawyer, I thought for a moment about... Screw thinking about all that shit! I jumped at the chance, rode the KTM for about 60 miles while watching Greb carve corners on my FJR and it was one of my funnest days ever! The End.

I can't believe everyone here jumped on the 14 year old girl "I'm gonna tell all your friends what you did" bandwagon.

This issue should have never been brought to this forum, but it was...And personally, I question the motives.

If the Jeff has the time to post up here and gripe, he has the time to do other things to make this right in his eyes. If he's so sure he's right, I wonder why those things haven't been done yet.NONE of this is any of our business.

AND...I'd still let most of you ride my FJR. Well, not Skooter, but everyone else.

Actually, nothing can be done until the bike is totally repaired and I have total amounts and that should not be for a month or two as some parts are unavailable I'm told.. And I am not sure that I was right. That is the reason I posted originally was to get more than my opinion. As far as the time to post, maybe you should check out my info on the TOTAL amount of comments that i have made on this forum. And on top of that, please make me aware of gripes that I have posted. The only "gripe" that I have, if memory serves me right, is how CA insurance law reads where the bike is insured, not the rider. I have expressed dissapointment above all. I have not been malicious in any way shape or form.

But more importantly, is 'the jeff" similar to "the donald"?

After Mr Church said to me that he can sue me for liable he stated he would not pay me anything then hung up. So I guess this is the end of this unless I want to go throught the hassle of court and suing someone an the other coast.

If that bolded part is true and all there is to it, then that pretty much confirms my earlier opinion. Which brings it back to the simple issue of who is picking up the deductible and remainder of the repairs for Church's crash of Jeff's bike?

All we know is from the posts of the two parties, so we don't know enough to say with certainty what is true and false. Libel requires a false statement of fact that damages the reputation of another, and as long as that's being thrown around, I suppose I just read one by Church that looks like an equally plausible candidate, given Jeff's dispute of its veracity. So we're at the point of internet bulletin board libel threats, now? Imagine that.

Well, who knows how this may play out in the future when hopefully cooler heads prevail and the two parties can come together, or how it will get worse. I for one am hoping there is some sort of resolution down the road.

And we really don't like to close threads. It takes a pretty good reason. Sometimes things need to run their course. And right now, things seem to be not too heated and hopefully will stay that way.
