Cross my heart and hope to die

I don't hope to die. Why hope for something you can't escape, anyway? "No one here gets out alive".

You're not lucky to have this condition, but you're lucky to live in a time where it can be treated so you can live your life without going blind.

I've had both hips replaced, and, while I'm not lucky to have the severe osteoarthritis that would have eventually caused the joints to fuse and lock up, I'm lucky to live in a time when they can be replaced and restore mobility, activity, far less pain, and my active life. Okay, I shouldn't ever run again, unless the house is on fire. Small price to pay! I can do anything else, including bicycling. (You know, the 2 wheels using muscle power).

Greetings, Jer. We have not met yet, but I would also like to wish you luck. I thought that having injections in my KNEE was bad... sorry to hear you have to go through with this. Science is amazing, and our doctors are learning new and exciting things every day.

I hope that these unpleasant injections resolve the problem, and fast!
