Cycle World - Greenville

Hey All,

Just returned from a visit w/ SCRider and the Cycle World Bike show in Greenville, SC. Just wanted to share some random thoughts & pics.

SCRider (Ross) - Showing his loyalty to MamaYama and posing the rhetorical question....."Should I have gotten the `09 AE? Sure is a pretty color"

Why the hell would you come to a motorcycle show in Greenville friggin' SC and bring one of these?

Is it just me or are motorcycle wheelbases getting longer and longer and longer?

Excuse me for not getting out more, but when did KTM start selling sport bikes?

Has kinda a unique profile doesn't it.

Ofcourse, everyone loves to oggle the Ducs

And hey, what's not to like......

Looks like they are trying to develop "stealth" technology for motorcycles. Looks pretty cool on planes.... not on this bike. Hmmm... I got some carbon fiber panels left over from my race car project, I think I'll put them on my new bike, pass me some more zip ties.

Maybe I just have different tastes.

What is it, about a 4 hour drive to the Smokies to find snow? It's what every S. Carolinan needs! My bro from Concord NC said they got 3 inches of snow, and it stayed for a whole 3 days, so usable days per price of machine= :lol2:

I have been jonesin for an RC8 since they were first intro'd or announced they'd be made a couple years ago. Now finally they year that they are obtainable, and the only decent KTM dealer around here has folded up. They are now more scarce than BMW dealerships...

Grrrr...
