I've spoken with Dave several times since my session with him.

During the course of our conversations I asked him if an FJR Suspension Clinic might be possible. He said certainly.

He lives in the SF Bay area, to reduce his (our) travel expenses and to maximize the opportunity for participation it looks to me like the YFO event might be the optimum venue.

He said he would charge $60 per rider that he works with to help them set up their suspension.

If you are interested please reply and let's see if there is enough interest to warrant further exploration of the issue.

Miss T has blessed this idea :)

Whether I still have the 04 or a Gen 3, I have always wanted some suspension help. So if I am in for YFO, I am definitely in for Dave Moss suspension help!!

YFO is a late May Early June gathering of FJR owners, and Others, in Yosemite. Check the Western US Event Ride planning section for details or PM Tyler

John, since I have the ES now, I don't think I would be able to use the talents of Mr Moss. Sorry. I hope some folks jump in to make it happen.

While I'm not YET a proud FJR1300 owner (very soon to be one)

I've used Dave prior at the track to help me adjust one of my Ducati's. I thought my suspension was well dialed from another suspension tuner also at the track, working with Dave allowed me to decrease my lap times, feel safer going faster, and brought a level of control I never had over the 4 years of ownership on my 996SPS.

But what should be noted was after that day with Dave, and many small adjustments that same bike was many times better on the street, better control and again feeling much safer negotiating public roads.

I will pulse him after I receive my new 2015 FJR1300 A

Enjoy!

I might be interested if I were to happen to ride the FJR to YFO. The suspension can use a little tweaking. GP forks and Ohlins rear. I am not 100% satisfied with the settings for the Ohlins.

BUT...I was thinking of bring the VSTROM for the goat trails, and that suspension is magic right now. GP forks again, and Wilbers Racing rear.
