Good Day All. Just wondering if anyone knows or has purchased a Ohlins rear for their FJR and actually got it at a good price, and could direct to the site if on-line. Up here they want a Ton of $ and I want to change my rear out but don't want to get gouged at the same time.

Thanks

YA053 Ohlins from Hard Racing. Just got it today, about $575 shipped. Hope to install this weekend. No remote resevoir or adjustment.

If you have a Gen I bike as your profile says, you've got the wrong shock. A YA-053 is for a Gen II bike, Gen I uses a YA-056. The valving is not hugely different, but the spring rate is always 30Nm lighter on a Gen I bike no matter the rider weight, primarily because the swingarm is shorter.

Not to worry. Guess I haven't updated profile in a few years. Rather wish I still had the old blue beast but I now have a silver sled. Shock fit fine, haven't had a chance to really evaluate it yet. I don't ride two up or tour, just wanted to eliminate the wobble in some of my favorite bumpy hi speed sweepers.
