I bought this exhaust new on Aug 18 of this year. It's less than 2 months old and has about 2k miles on it. It upsets my dog, which in turn wakes my newborn at 4:30AM when I'm leaving for work. It's a good souding exhaust, but the easy solution for me is to pass it on to someone else.

Location: Ardmore, AL

Price: $300 + shipping

I'm kind of surprised that no one has commented on this yet! I have the 8" ones with the turn downs and of course I run them without the baffles. They do look good and sound absolutely fantastic! and ya, I bet the neighbors love it at 5am everyday when I leave, just have to be a little easy on the throttle and wait until the bike is at full temp.

Quick question? Do you know how much(if) lighter they are?

And do you have to remap for them ? I've been eyeing this exhaust for awhile ,but the fjr runs so good as it is... I hate to change anything.

It's ALL about the look (if you like it) and the sound - everybody has different "needs" in that department.

No remap necessary.

No expected improvement (or change) in performance.

These are sold, but I can confirm that they are significantly lighter than even the Gen1 OEM pipes. I loved the sound and at the ragged edge of the FJRs abilities, I think their was a slight increase in power. Slight.

Thanks for the answers, from what I have read I wasn't expecting a performance increase, I was worried about running issues or it getting worse mpg, I'm always interested in making things lighter if I can.

Damn, Dave. How loud would straight pipes be? Talk about black sheep of the neighborhood...

I would like a little louder exhaust, except for when I'm riding all day long. I like the stock footpeg position, except for when I'm riding all day long. Compromise. Congrats on the sale. Good info.
