Randy...It was a spin balancer.

Now, THIS has me scratching my head: I just went out to test the shield up/down theory and had NO wobble at all either way. None, zero. I did two runs and got up to about 120 MPH each time...nothing, perfectly stable at all speeds. Before I left, I added about 2 PSI to each tire to bring them up to 41 PSI. The sidecases were empty. Other than that, nothing different on the bike since yesterday.

When I did the return 400 miles yesterday, I don't think I felt the wobble early in the day, at least I don't remember it then. I definitely felt it big-time after about 250 miles. It was overcast and relatively cooler (for Florida) yesterday when I left at first light, but got much hotter as the day progressed. I'm wondering if it might have something to do with the tire getting really heated up as the trip progressed?

Put them on my 05. no problems. Liked the way the bike handled. Got Z6s on 06 and they feel the same and look the same as the Diablo Stradas. Maybe that is because they are the same!

Pirelli and Metzler are now one.

The Z6s are wearing well and after 3000 miles the rear is showing very little slab squaring.

Most rears last about 5000 miles on my bike including avons so i am hoping the Z6s will exceed that.

Got the 'E' and I have the rear mounted because I picked up a nail a couple of weeks ago (Z6 still on the front).

Can't say that it is different in any way from the Z6. In fact Pirelli claims that the compound is different and that it is not the same.

I like what I have now, it rides fine, well planted and seems to work well in the rain too, though I've always been somewhat timid when it's wet out.

My friend, who has a ZX14 pulled his Stadas OFF and sold them (he bought 2 sets under the "buy a rear, get a free front" program) because he says they always broke free for him. Then again, he's pulled his secondary butterflies, so he has extra power all the way down to about 2K.
