As one of the organizers of the Eastern Owners Meeting, I have been visiting the sister boards involved in FJRdom to update info, see if there has been any interest generated, etc. For the last 2 days when I search EZboard looking for "FJR" Owners Association I come up with "not found". Did that site go under? Did they switch domains, etc? Anyone know the scoop?

Heidi

Hmmm, strange... when I try to access the board using the ionbeam link, it takes me into my account. When I try to access it using the same technique that I've always used, it doesn't work.

Keith, old story, old news. No use dredging all that mess up again.

Still there, still extremely active, up to 7 posts a day now, not bad for 3 members. ;)

Thanks Southern, Ionbeam's link took me in. I still have an account, too. Made a post. One of those 7 posts that Radman talks about is mine. Seems that I've gotten under the skin of some guy over handguards.

Daaaaaymn, Heidi, you are such a muckraker..... ;) :D

I'll have to peek in there sometime using another computer, since I am still banned by IP address.... B)

oh, it really isn't anything, anyway. I just suggested the V-Strom handguards as an alternate to the ones that he put on his bike that happened to be non-direct bolt ons & twice as expensive. You actually need to fenagle your own mounting & hardware. Yeah, well maybe if nothing else was available, I might do that. I tell him, to each his own.

Seems he took some offense to the suggestion & the looks alone made them worth spending twice as much. Yeah right.

Got a link? I'll go add my two bits worth of dry wit....

sticking a match into the tumbleweeds, eh?

i usually PM people asking questions and let them know about the places where there are people and that they can get answers that are accurate and timely. the PM system is "back channel" to the specific board, so the filters used on the board don't work in PMs.

well, now that link from Ionbeam isn't working. Feels like maybe I'm being blocked in some fashion? Doess the link work for others?

I got the message; "Cannot connect to server."

I didn't know they knew me over there.

I can log onto easyboard and change my profile, but accessing the FJR1300 area I get the same error message as Scab.

What's the problem body?

After massaging the community search, I finally got the link/info below which STILL didn't work.

My question is, why would +hot be a factor in the search? I kind of thought that was funny.

Basically, it looks like they're having an issue today.

well, maybe I'm not blocked & they're server is down again? Could be... thanks guys.

My connection was timing out earlier today, but I got in just now. I haven't looked in there for a year or longer.

There is nada in your EOM-6 thread except for your original post making the announcement.
