If my 04 sits for 2 weeks or longer without being run, it is almost impossible to start. Otherwise it starts immediately. I often have to bump it down my hill to get it going. Thank goodness for the steep hill.
I keep it on a tender and do the WFO throttle after the first few attempts fail. I hear the fuel pump running and don't turn the key off and on so I don't get another shot of gas into the cylinders.
I've pulled the air cleaner-won't start, using starting fluid-seldom helps. Never had another bike do this. TIA, Ian
