Disappearing nuts?

You would think Yamaha had the good sense to use a lock nut.

They did. EVERYTHING Yammie puts on is locked. Remember the first time you removed the oil pan drain bolt? I needed an 18 inch breaker bar to get it off.

Timely post. However, while mine was recently lost it wasn't in the manner of the OP. Mine went into the black hole void inside of the bike somewhere. You know, when you drop something and it goes down into the bike but you never hear it hit the floor, and then can't find it? Yea, mine is there, but a trip to the hardware store sorted that out.
