Allow me to open up with some training wheels that are now available on BMW's venerable K12LT. It's a brute heavy touring bike that some have difficulty handling so a company has come out with a la Gold Wing, a set of training wheels that lower and raise for low speed handling. I wouldn't be caught dead on it and figure if I can't handle the bike at any speed I shouldn't be riding it.

Ok, John, get to the point. Well, actually some folks [said they would] would want it just for the sheer enjoyment of, heck, it's a great conversation point (picks up women???), and would be a great point of focus at the Starbucks Poseur Club.

Ok, here's where there's a bit of honesty. Heck, I don't mind shifting a motorcycle with a clutch, in traffic etc. I want the AE cuz it's unique, always liked the looks of the bike, want a dealer in my town, and seems to be an ideal touring and sport combo. And, it will just tickle my butt when somebody says, . . "Hey, where's the clutch lever?" And then, blah, blah, blah

Saw a guy on a wing with those training wheels here in town a while back. He had no legs, so was kinda cool for him to able to ride. I didn't see how he shifted. Glad there are alternatives for handicapped and older riders. I don't think these inventions are for healthy folks. JMHO

That nail just got it's head hammered. Don't NEED it, just WANT it, cuz it should be COOL and DIFFERENT.

I'm also getting an autoclutch for my dirt bike. Hopefully, I can adjust to both.

Now, when does that left hand lever rear brake kit come out?? :D :D :D
