FTM-10SR works perfectly once you understand the radio menu settings and what they do.
Their are many variables to vox control.
Mic gain adjustment does effect Cardo Q2 mic sensitivity, not directly but indirectly.
Vox needs set to max, mic gain to low. (10SR)
Vox works best at speeds 35 to 70Mph in fact it works perfectly, the Q2 is extremly noise cancelling.
When stopped at a red light vox takes a bit more audio to trip, a handle bar mounted PTT might be the ticket here.
10sr allows broadcast FM radio in stereo or plug in ipod, mp3 etc.
When listening to music it continues to monitor your ham band frequency.
It will switch over to ham band freq if the squelch breaks, it takes priority then returns to music etc.
For a MtrCycle use the 10SR is the best choice as the 10R. 50watts at your back is overkill and dangerous!
Anyway, it works for me. Contact me Echolink 70cm simplex node 42274
Good Luck!
