... know of a good dealership in the Portland, Or. area. My bike has 34k on the odometer and I think that it is starting to tick. So, taking the advice of the people on this board, I call the dealership and ask if I can bring it in and have them listen to it. Well, I get there and we go out to the bike. I start it up and I can hear it but, the service guy doesn't. Actually, he seems more interested in my Top Gun bar-end weights and Moko sliders than he does in listening to my engine. I ask him if he hears it and he says that it's just normal noise for a Yamaha engine. To top it all off, he then asks me what year my bike is. I look at him like WTF kind of question is that. But, I went to my happy place and let that one slide. He then calls over another tech and he tells me the same thing.
So, I would like to get an informed opinion about the noise. Does anyone know of a good dealership in the Portland area?
By the way, I have chromed rims and they look sweet!!
