I have made some great friends through the ether of the internet and the best ones are the ones I have seen in person. The problem is that there are always new friends and more people who share our expanding interests and it is not possible to keep in touch with them all, at least not often. The best part is the good memories. When you lose a friend you should not feel like you should have made more time for that person, but simply remember the the good times you were able to enjoy together.

I may be closer then you think come may. If life works out in my favour....we(wifey and I) will be living in southern oregon in a couple of months.

edit: as for the bath.....it's only been washed twice in the seven years I've owned her. But, I ride in the rain so it gets washed then
Oh boy, I'd better warn FJRay. He does have farm animals.

Living in Oregon your bike will get plenty of baths. Hope the move works out for you!
Hm.....I imagine his name is ray....funny.....my name is ray. Farm animals? I aquired two ponies when I got married. We may have a lot in common. Then again.....we could be arch enemies.
Everybody loves Ray(not that tv guy). You'll find out at the Ruben Run/

All that too... :)

Lost another good friend/coworker.

It's happening so often now I think I'm getting jaded.

At least the wall seems to building to insulate the hurt - at some point in time -

The older you get you live through more and more of these events. Until it is your turn, then hopefully there will be someone there to mourn your passing.

If you're really lucky at your funeral your friends will be having a discussion about your motorcycle. They will decide that as much as they would love to have it as something to remember you by, really, it is not worth the trouble. He rode it so much there before the end, he just wore the damned thing out.
