With the recent loss of a riding friend, Sydney Sheppard, many have expressed wishes that they'd been able to spend more time with her. We never really know when our time card gets clocked out for the last time... so here's my suggestion to everyone...

Take the time NOW to reach out to those people in your lives that you love... get off the computer... pick up the phone and make a date for coffee or brunch or a movie or a walk or schedule a ride... dis-connect from that which isn't really reality and re-connect with your family and friends real time... right now... today... tomorrow... every day...

Don't wait for the next announcement of the loss of another person and say,"I wish..." Don't wish... make it happen now. :)

Great advice.....I was stunned last week to learn of the passing of a first cousin. We spent 24 hours together in 2008 after an absence of 42 years and our last words were a mutual promise not to wait another 40 years before we got together again. As sad as that news was, it did motivate me to make contact with another cousin I have not seen in 35 years. It turned out he lives only 2 miles from the 2008 NAFO site but we are getting together this summer.

Tyler, you hit the nail right on the head.... we need to put some effort into making time for the special people in our lives. Time is ticking away.

Time passes so fast... Tyler I agree with you wholeheartedly but you left out something. Don't forget those really unreal friends that we deal with here but never meet. I hope that in the near future I get to meet face to face and in person some of the folks here on this forum that I have come to enjoy so much. And yes, Miss Tyler, you are one of the ones that I most want to meet.

Thanks for always posting the nicest and most positive things.

We all have "secrets' Ty.. Regardless of what the book beginning with a B says..

Some of us "know' something we ain't gonna share. Selfish?

By all means.

But we do what we do and deal with what's dealt.

Sorry for the recent loss kido

Hugs

B, don't care about any "secrets"... I've met you and know who you are and I'm glad for it, pumpkin... :)

I may be closer then you think come may. If life works out in my favour....we(wifey and I) will be living in southern oregon in a couple of months.

edit: as for the bath.....it's only been washed twice in the seven years I've owned her. But, I ride in the rain so it gets washed then.

Oh boy, I'd better warn FJRay. He does have farm animals.

Living in Oregon your bike will get plenty of baths. Hope the move works out for you!

well, gee, Tyler, if you'd come to Nawlin's, I'd then find you'd be more real and I'd show you a good time...

might even kiss you farewell...might even be in front of my wife...

oh wait..............................
