Dougie Bugger called a ride
Folks showed up from far and wide
Off we went on out to play
To add some memories to our day.

On Friday out yonder, off we'd explore
Just me and Bugger on goats galore
Foresthill Rd. was cool and clear
Didn't even see one little deer

Oh flora, oh fauna
Oh vistas galore
Explaining with words?
No, imagery does soar.

Pray tell, what was next?
Iowa Hill was the plan
We stopped at a lake
And watched life in a span

We wound our way down
That narrow goat trail
With gnarly tight turns
And a bridge with detail

Don't look down
Stay close to the right
Else you'll be falling afar
Would not be a pretty sight

Once sated with roads
We headed out for the night
For dinner and laughter
And flat trackers in flight

Zooming and zipping
They sped right on past
Youngin's and oldin's
Making memories that last

But what to my wondering eyes did appear?
A fully-dressed bagger draggin' his rear
DSC_6993-XL.jpg

Stylin' looks and tiaras in waiting
People we watched and gave them a rating

Faster and faster
The dust it was flyin'
On pins and needles
First place they were eyein'

Back home, off to sleep
To get a good night's rest
The day would be dawning
So we'd need to be at our best

The sun shone down brightly
We had smiles on our faces
Our trusty steeds waiting
To be put through their paces

One of these things is not like the other
One of these things just doesn't belong
Can you guess which thing is not like the other
Before I finish my song?

Bridges and sailboats
Came into our view
We all were content
To not just pass through

The roads they did twist!
The bikes they did zoom!
Flowers were sniffed
And strange creatures did loom

We stopped for lunch
In the small town of Quincy
Where we met two more friends
Warren and Bluesy

DSC_7079-XL.jpg

Our appetites quenched
Off again we did go
To find some more roads
To keep smiles still aglow

To the Bugnatr's abode
We landed that night
For bbq, laughter
And tall tales to delight
DSC_7092-XL.jpg

DSC_7110-XL.jpg

The sun it did set
And the pool was aglow
With reflections of shrubbery
Putting on quite a show

With that it was time
To head up to my bed
While visions of curved roads
Danced in my head

But wait, what is this??
Don't tell me there's more??
Seems Sir Bugnatr
Had more fun in store

Alas, poor Samuel...
I knew him well
He may not be seen
For a very long spell

Signs, Signs, Everywhere there's signs.
Blocking out the scenery. Breaking my mind.
Do this! Don't do that! Can't you read the signs?
DSC_7125-XL.jpg

And with that, it was done
The time had flown by
But I gave many thanks
For my friends and our time

(This rhyming **** is a PITA.)

Your scenery/content in your photo's are always the best. Gorgeous. Love your colors and saturation's levels! The high contrasts mimic my Samsung led TV, which after you get use to it, makes other people black levels look like gray scale. Your pics rule (and content within), thanks for sharing!

You continue to be my hero sweetie! Great RR in awesome country! The 'Streaks even snuck in there if my eyes be not mistaken?
