read the comments on Utube. Yellow wolf said they were working together. The Duc was intentionally riding slower to be filmed. Otherwise he would never have been in range of the camera on the GW.

Hey FJRChik, if I borrow my brother's Wing, you up for the ride???
We'll let Niehart video.
Yes, please! I haven't been on a Wing since I was a kid on the back of my dad's. They sure have changed since 82!

I am very proud to say the guy on the Wing filming Yellow Wolf, AKA Rick Peppin is my nephew, JR. He was actually on another yellow Goldwing. Both he and Yellow Wolf have since sold their Wings. My nephew bought a dirt bike to teach his son to ride and to ride with him. Yellow Wolf bought a used V-Strom 650, IIRC. The real Holy Sh*t moment in Yellow Wolf story was when he ran the Dragon for 24 hours non stop as an Iron Butt ride. 1006 miles on the Dragon in 24 hours. He was not officially recognized for the feat of lunacy due to the speed he had to average to accomplish it. He did get a letter of congrats from Mike Kneebone though. Now that was something. The ride, not the letter.

hey how is jr anyway?he flying now for a living???

Yellow Wolf an incredible rider, keeps up with SB's and a 1K very impressive. When I went through Deal's Gap I was in a van and I wanted to check it out as it was a side trip for business. The Store I heard was for sale too , I am sure the rock slide didn't help.

You can drag a knee on any bike. It's not about the bike; it's about how aggressive the rider wants to hang off. Also, it's not about dragging a knee, it's about optimizing rider-bike center of balance, which places the knee out and down.

Rick, he is still working at the same job. He has his complete Helo ticket but he cannot afford the pay cut. He is just enjoy riding dirt with his son for now. He is close enough to having 20 years in that is would be foolish to leave until he is offered some type of early retirement. Then he WILL be flying full time. Nice to hear from you. The people in the SFRC said hello. I will be up your way in May. Shoot me a PM with a contact number and if you are in town, maybe we can hook up for a ride together.
