Dragon October 26-29...

It seems I will have a couple week to myself in late October so I have decided to take a run down to the Dragon. I am told it will be a good time of year with the leaves turning and what not. Or it might snow...whatever will be will be!

Will be trailering my bike as far as Washington DC and then riding. I have 2 days driving from Nova Scotia to DC and 2 back. Four nights booked at the Deal's Gap motel and the rest I am going to play by ear.

Any suggestions?

Last year when I went down there I forgot to take more than a handful of pictures. My wife was sure I wasn't riding the whole 2 weeks. She has a very suspicious mind. Fortunately I had a bad case of monkey butt to proclaim my innocence!! :clapping:

How do you plan on going to NC? May I offer suggestions from DC? Take western VA, Skyline Drive to the Blue Ridge Pkwy, etc. Or cruise down I81 for views all around, but a long boring straight road. Got more if needed.

Aviator that is exactly what I was thinking. Skyline Drive to the BRP. Since I have ridden the southern half of the BRP I might get on an interstate for that part.

Mike you sure can borrow my trailer. You'll have to ride to NS first though.
