Someone already mentioned it on this thread but Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park are two great places for motorcycles. I didn't have an FJR when I went to Bryce Canyon but an 88 Honda HawkGT650. I always said I have to revisit that place. The place is loaded with tight switchbacks and views galore and the rocks are all red colored. That trip was back in 1994.

Last Summer I spent a little over two weeks checking out 14 National Parks from Olympic to Yosemite, yellowstone, Tetons, Custer Battlefiield, Devil's Tower, etc., etc. I sprinkled in Beartooth, SOUTH dakota, NAFO, Route 50 through Utah and Nevada and some days to do nothing but fish or drink in a town's sites. I went where I wanted when I wanted and aside from the NAFO dates no agenda.

Wonderful ride.

This year I hope to go into the Columbia river basin, Northern Idaho, Glacier, visit my brother I haven't seen in years and his fiance (they will be in Montana visiting), then home via Canada and Route 101. Money will be the determining factor. But if you don't dream big you can't expect anything to happen.

I've never seen, let alone ridden in the Southeast or Gulf Coast and I'd like to check out the Southwest as I ran out of time and money before I could see them last year.

Another dream is Ireland during the road racing season, riding the country and taking in some of their insane races through tiny streets .. must not have lawyers there.

Nice winter thread on the forum. Time for dreaming and farkling...
