Can we drink in Utah at the hotel without being club members or having a sponsor? What's the scoop on the liquor laws in UT?
We'll be able to pound down at the Marriott, no problamo. The liquor laws in Utah may read kinda strange, but I have found in actual practice, they don't really impact anything. Maybe Cdogman or Go Far can elaborate further, since they live there.

I was co-rallymaster of the very first ST1100 Western Gathering waaaaaay back in 1996, and we also used Park City for the venue (a different motel, however). Nobody had any problems hoisting glass after glass there, as I recall.

The Utah 1088 has been held in two different Salt Lake City hotels over the years, and trust me, nobody has any issues getting ****-faced after the Awards Banquet...

Hey all, Dont worry bout drinkin, Snot a big deal here and I can assure you you will hardly notice a difference between here and other places. The myth is far bigger than reality on this one. Utah had to tow the mark for the Olympics a few years ago so it is basically a myth now for the most part.

TWN Good on ya. I am still ready to help in any way you may need me to. Lemme know

By any slim chance is Wolf Creek pass open, or are there still long waits?

Although is is kinda fun to sit there and watch dump trucks move dirt form one side of the road to the other.... kinda... ok it was really boring! <BG>

I rode Wolf Creek a few times this past season. At first they had the ashpault cut withthhe squiggles for repair. Now it is smooth as a babys but. There is a killer little diner up there that seats like 15 people and the bathroom door wants to fall off so be careful. But you talk about good breakfasts and coffee. That Diner is a destination spot for a sunday morning ride into the tundra.

Yea, its open and it rocks now. Nice to pop out the top and come back VIA Straberry Res. and cut back into the hills again... tis sweet
