Really,what means the word ''kerchunks''..??
It's an example of onomatopoeia. No help

? It's a word that sounds like what it represents. Bees buzz, snakes hiss, FJRs kerklunk. Although, unlike "buzz" and "hiss", I don't think you'll find "kerchunk" in a normal English dictionary, though "clunk" is.

Oh, yes, the word "onomatopoeia" derives from the Greek "ὀνοματοποιία", "ὄνομα" name, "ποιέω" I make (hope those Greek letters come through).

... A description of the noise and klunk the bike makes when shifting into first from neutral.
Thanks.

Let me google that for you...

Kerchunk
Haha,nice!Thanks.

Tried Iele's tip. Pull the clutch in and let it coast.( at speed and keep the RPM up). Tried it just a few times and what a ******* difference it made. None of that clutch soak ******** for me. I owe Iele A 12 pack. I don't deliver.

I'm going to give Lele's method a try as well. That's if it ever quits pouring down rain around here, another 2 inches overnight. 10 day forecast is more of the same. JUST NO FREAKING END!!!!
