... A description of the noise and klunk the bike makes when shifting into first from neutral.
It's an example of onomatopoeia. No helpReally, what means the word ''kerchunks''..??
Thanks.... A description of the noise and klunk the bike makes when shifting into first from neutral.
Thanks. It's an example of onomatopoeia. No helpReally, what means the word ''kerchunks''..??? It's a word that sounds like what it represents. Bees buzz, snakes hiss, FJRs kerklunk. Although, unlike "buzz" and "hiss", I don't think you'll find "kerklunk" in a normal English dictionary, though "clunk" is.
Oh, yes, the word "onomatopoeia" derives from the Greek "ὀνοματοποιία", "ὄνομα" name, "ποιέω" I make (hope those Greek letters come through).
Haha,nice!Thanks.
Ha, that sounds just like the ABS self testing or resetting every time I drop below 4 mph on my '93 R1100RSL.Not to be confused with the sound of a cash register opening, "Ker-Ching!"
This.. it's like opening the door with your dog on a leash..It kerchunks to let you know how strong it is and to remind you it wants to GO.
Have tried this just once, also to great effect.Hoping it continues to work....Tried Iele's tip. Pull the clutch during warm up ...
