I'm in +2 . Looks like I'll be camping. Probably leaving a little late on Thursday, so gonna trailer the poor bikes down to make up the time. I hope my bike forgives me.

Finally going to get to EOM!!!! :yahoo:
Great news Chris, looking forward to meeting you.

Hey Guys, I live in Lexington and will probably make EOM as well. I have rode much in the Cumberland Falls Area but would enjoy scouting some routes this spring.

Great, glad to have local help. We'll keep in touch. When to the roads in that area typically get cleared up from the winter salt / sand etc? I'm guessing mid April??

Thanks,

Wayne.

it really depends on the last snow. Ky winters are really all over the place and this year proves no different.

April's a pretty good guess as to the 'end of winter' around here but, like I said, we've seen some curve balls. :)

I'm in like Flynn. :yahoo:

Lodge reservations made for Weds thru Sun.

I think I'll be bringing my bride along with me. If'n she all can't make it I'll offer up the other bed to room share.

Long story short my company Areva is moving all production from Lynchburg Va to Richland WA. So my machinist position will be severed around March 2011. I will receive a package of 60 days with pay and benefits then 7 months pay. If there is anyway I can be there I will. Its only 395 miles and about 7 hours from me ,wish me luck !

Camp sites: $15...That's about the only way that I'll be able to make it
That's how I plan to roll.

South on the BRP, loop up to Corbin, home through WV,

camping as much as possible along the way.

Glad to hear that others are planning to camp. I actually prefer camping but I was thinking about getting a room to be closer to the crowd. Since we really are spreading out then camping will work out well.

I'll likely camp, also. We can have our own party around the campfire if it's really that spread out. Looking forward to playing with old friends & meeting new,

Heidi

luvtoride will you take interstate 81 ?
knowing her...not if she can help it. :)
You got that right, Mark. Likely I wouldn't touch 81 unless it was a short connector of some sort. It's a pretty long trip out for me & thinking off hand without looking at a map, 81 isn't at all direct. I'm more likely to go through the middle of WV or skirt the bottom of VA either taking 460 or 58. I'll tell ya'... 58 west of Independence & east of Damascus is a good, good road. & it would also depend whether I was taking 1 or 2 days to get there.
