Vic...you're from Florida...just bring everything you got.
Lmao!... I wanna pack light.

Leave the condoms at home...

Cme twice through Lewisburg on the way home from EOM. Gets cool at night in September, one year was 35F and frost on the bike overnight. Warms up soon though, but we were headed north, so can't tell you what the average daytime high is.
Ya EOM is always a challenge when it comes to packing for me. It's likely going to be in the 70's during the day and chilly in the evenings the problem is for me, that time of year heading south out of Sudbury, I'm just as likely to hit some snow flurries.

So, ya, just bring everything AND the heated gear.

Can anyone that lives in the Lewisburg area please post the average temperature range for the timeframe of the EOM? I'm in the packing stage. Is it too early??

I'm in that area regularly, Vic. It's a crapshoot for weather. That time of the year I usually wear my winter jacket & my mesh pants as opposed to all winter gear. Don't forget to carry rain gear for your mesh. It rains... but again that is a crapshoot. I'm sure there are others who will post their opinion. It is normally chilly to downright cold @ night... but definitely warms during the day. Bungie is accurate. Be sure to bring a jacket for parking lot antics.

Now let's get to a really valid EOM inquiry, does Lewisburg have a real and authentic Mexican Restaurant? This is extremely important to Papa Chuy Viejo, except for my years overseas in the US Army I have lived within 110 miles of the Border with Mexico. Each and every day, at least one of my meals es la Comida Mexicana!

Let me warn you West Virginians if you reference Taco Bell or Del Taco, it will NOT end well for you ese! JSNS, BeemerDonS "El Burrito Ballerina"

Seeing how DonDeMon has a crap load of free time and needs to excersize his shoulder, he should add JohnD to the attendees list. How do I know he's coming? He's offered to split his room with me. I'd consider that pretty good evidence. He says that Mike (Moosehead) is coming down as well.

It's a Canadian invasion!

When entering a foreign land you should sample some of the local fare. When you were in Germany, did you not drink the beer? Time to belly up for some good BBQ and 'shine! If it oinks, it gets smoked and it's all good.

If Don partakes of some local beverages, especially if he eats the fruit in the bottom, he's libel to end up tossing a football around the parking lot with this bad arm.

Dos Vatos Locos, have I ever appeared to you two that I have ever suffered from malnutrition? But at least one meal a day has to have un Pendejo Grande that looks exactly like this inside or passed out drunk in front of the Restaurant ese! JSNS, el Borracho y el Gordo ese!

Just make sure to bring a can of refried beans for beemerdons...

Thank you all for the info guys. The reason that I wanted to narrow it down some is because I live in a blast furnace that doubles as a steam pressure cooker during the day. I wear all the protection I can so, I wear my protection externally. I figured that Lewisburg will be a bit warmer during the day than Maggie Valley was from the lower altitude alone. I'm definitely bringing a jacket for the parking lot festivities. I just wondered if it was worth bringing my armor plated vest and elbow/forearm pads. Not a fan of a full moto jacket in the warm weather when I can easily put the pads on. I think I'll bring them. I can tuck my belly in to get air between me and the vest, raise my elbows and the inside of the vest turns into an air conditioner at 60(ish) mph.

Thanks!

I'm right down the road from you in Parkland and I've been getting along pretty well with my mesh armored jacket... I did purchase one of those hot weather evaporation vests but haven't used it yet.
