Lewisburg sounds good. If I have to deal with I-75 I'm hoping for something in Kentucky so the bourbon can dull my memory of driving through Toledo and Cincinnati.
Since my son moved down to Louisville...I have grown to hate getting through Cincinnati so much, that I totally avoid it, and just go around it

Why does it feel like Toledo and Cincinnati are ALWAYS under construction? And then you cross that cool bridge and you're into a another world when you enter Kentucky. It's like when the Wizard of Oz movie turns into color.

Plus the wicked witch isn't near as mean as the Ohio police.

Yeah, Cinci blows chunks. We'll be going around Cinci tomorrow on our way to my dad's place down towards Louisville.

On our way back from EOM this year, I saw more police in Ohio than I did all four days of riding everywhere else! And Ohio is where I got my last performance award, in a cage, 15 years ago. Frickin' Ohio.... (no offense intended to those who make that fine state their home!!

I'm finally at my computer and feel I can type without tapping on a screen. The old fashion way. Had a great time this year. You all are wonderful folks. Much thanks to my escorts and all that helped me get around, even those that just held a door open. I felt a lot of feeling in a lot of hand shakes (it show in your eyes). Thanks for that too. And those great energy packed hugs from so many of you. Crashing was not on my agenda this year, but I have learned over the years that you have to keep a positive attitude and believe that it is all good, and the good will flow towards you. Much of that has already come from the people that attended this event this year.

I'm home now and getting my ankle looked after at our local VA Hospital, which is good one, and should have surgery on it next Friday, just two weeks after the accident. It is almost a carbon copy of my right ankle break done two years ago. I will get a plate and screws. One or two to hold the fibular to the tibia and strengthen the ligaments.

I'm looking forward to coming back next year. That's positive thinking.

Ken, best wishes to you. It was a pleasure meeting you at Deal's Gap and the riding after. Dan

Ken, it was great meeting you, and having you as a roommate for the weekend. Looking forward to seeing you next year. Good luck with the surgery, and hope for a quick recovery.

But on the bright side you very rarely see them on the good motorcycle roads in Ohio.

Ken - glad things are on track and healing. Looking forward to seeing again next year!
