EOM Accommodations...

Dean Burke has a reservation for a 5 bed cabin

and has asked me to be his housing coordinator

looks like there are 4 confirmed and 1 almost confirmed residents:

Mike O (Patriot)

Dean (duh, forgot handle)

Michael White (mvette)

Fred Fraim (old pilot)

most likely confirmed:

Scott Burns (Burnspot)

but I'm offering 1 bed and all the floor space we can spare to others

who are willing to share the cost as Dean & I feel is fair...and we will be fair

mvette and I are ok with sharing a queen bed...we've done so on past trips to save $$$ when we've

had 3 in a 2 queen room

I envision a lessor $$$ share for floor sleepers, and mvette & I sharing a bed

There is a sofa bed which is one of the 5 beds...

I don't know if there's a love seat or recliner chair

that someone would be ok sleeping on...might be in which a sleeping bag & pad would not be useful

If you want more info...call the property...ask them about the furniture in a cabin, and the total price of one at EOM for 3 nights

You'll have an idea of what the shared cost will be

mvette and I are coming from Looziana up I-59 on Wednesday...will stay Wed night somewhere just north of Chattanooga

the current plan is to get on the road at sun up Thur...head east to Tellico Plains, ride the Cherohala (my fav road) to Deals Gap

head over the Dragon, and then take the fastest route to Cumberland Falls, Corbin, KY

Actually, Karl, Griff, FJRocket and I are splitting a cabin...if someone wants to cut down costs...the sofa bed is open. :clapping:

Check Out Sunday

3 Night Stay

$694.36

Divide by 5 equals $138.57 each, or $46.29 per night.

If we need to divde by 4 it would be $173.59 each, or $57.86 each.

So we are looking for that 5th person to fill the sofa bed.

It's not that we're misers or anything like that, we're just CHEAP!

as has happened in the past, there will be "last minute" decisions either way

so you procrastanators or working stiffs who have to sneak away...you're probably covered

Reminder to potential attendees:

1st call is Wheatie and airboss each with 4 attendees in a 5 person cabin each

let them know if you want a bed

then, if another (3rd) wish to attend, then in Dean/my cabin...I can double up leaving a bed open for a sixth somebody

so 3 openings for the taking

I don't know if the lodge is sold out or not. But since I'm staying with Wheatie, AB, and Griff, I went ahead and dumped my room moments ago.
