Ok so here's some pics. 2009 EOM was a success! Thanks to the planners and organizers. Thanks to my riding partner Steve(Bungie).

Steve and I met up at Hwy 9 and 400. at about 10am and then it was off to Niagara Falls to the border. As we entered the United States I was asked some unusual questions. "Country of origin, where ya going, had any medical procedures?" Medical procedures???? WTF, where's he going with this line of questions? As 5 guards are walking towards me. Oh crap! The Guard asks if I'd had a Stress test recently (yes). Oh I get it now, I'm Radioactive! Who knew they checked for that. So it's the "follow me" routine. They run the bike through a scanner and check me with a Geiger counter. I'm low but they just want to make sure. 5 minutes later I'm out on Hwy 190 south.

As we head south Steve has decided we should go to the ZIPPO Museum. This could be cool.

You Americans kill me. This flag is made out of ZIPPO's.

So I don't know why I haven't taken any more shots until arrivng at EOM but I just want to show that a dirty bike at EOM is still better than a clean one sitting at home.

Friday, Steve and I head out for the Dragon. We take the long way around. This is on Rte 70 somewhere. What an awesome twist.

At Deals Gap we are greeted by RAIN!! Our ride through the Dragon was at a comfortable pace. Lots of people milling about at the store.

We spent so much time on the road we missed the Barbeque!!! Man o man I heard the pulled pork was awesome. We have discussed our Saturday route and it'll be the Snake today.

So, adhearing to the small group rules we headed out Saturday morning as a group of 4. Next thing we know we're a group of 14 or so.

A few split off from the big group at the Valley Store. Later we split again to a smaller group. I'd name everyone but I can't remember who stayed and who split.

At the Valley Store they were having a Rally. They had a Silk screen machine set up on the spot!

For the Tim Allen's in the crowd you know there is no replacement for displacement!!

The Snake was great road.

Back at the hotel we gathered for the group pic. Once again I managed to get my Silver 03 in the front row.

I think everyone got a pic of the bikes.

So as another EOM came to it's climax with the banquet I took a pic of the dinner. Turns out it was the last pic I took.

Steve and I took advantage of the calm weather to leave early Sunday morning. We took some really good routes home. We tried to use secondary roads as much as possible. It was suggested to take Rte 16 out of Marion Va. Wow 33 miles of twists and turns. Covering 3 mountains. After that we stayed on Rte 19 until nightfall. Monday morning we took a north-easterly path so as to avoid the rain. It worked until we hit the NY border when the skies opened up on us until we hit the Canadian border. Steve and I parted ways in Hamilton Ontario. I arrived home just after 10pm. Monkey Butt is a good word to describe how I felt.

Whens the next ride?

Nice pics and ride report! I was fun riding the Dragon with you and Steve, even though it was in the rain and behind Harleys going 15 mph.
