first aid kit in right side bag - cyanide capsule in tank bag

Don't put first aid kits into the side bags. If you fall your bike may lay on the side with the kit in it and you unable to get to it. Put kit into uprights like topcase, tank bag, etc.

I'm surprised no one mentioned a whistle... If you do go over the side into the brush, you're going to exhaust yourself quickly calling for help. A nice flat emergency/camping type whistle in an accessible pocket takes care of that.
