I prefer to meet other FJRForum members face to face after riding hundreds or thousands of miles of back country roads on my FJR.

or give 'em crap here. :)

Friend request sent & accepted.

Face-to-face or over the Intrawebzors, I'm happy to have met your acquaintance.

My public facebook here: Linky (It'll help if you mention the FJRForum)

Facebook, IMHO, is just a trap to put tons pf cookies in your computer. Every offshoot you do gets 2 to 5 cookies. I'm tired of blocking all those requests, so if your computer slows down, you WILL know why!!

I've only been using facebook for a few days so I have no experience with it. However, unlike Myspace which is mainly grade school kids and pervs, facebook is a great way to keep up with people. In the past few days not only have I contacted high school and college friends but I have made new contacts in Denver. Now I'm contacted to some riders here on this forum. I also connected with someone from my former city in Alabama who I do NOT know and is a beautiful lady. So maybe when I go back to visit friends perhaps I will have a date lined up. So much easier than using match.com.
The site is geared towards adults/young people. In a few weeks I'm going to post my Colorado photos which my friends and family can see with just a few clicks of the mouse...instead of me having to email them to everyone.
If you are under the impression that Facebook has any shortage of pervs or is less perv prone than MySpace, you need to dig deeper. Both Facebook and MySpace are full of gangbangers, shitheads, common criminals, and perverts. Don't forget that any picture you post on the internet can NEVER be retrieved. So if some ******* photoshops your 8 year old's face onto something gross, it will be there as long as the internet is alive. Use as you feel appropriate.

Just a quick note, if you tried to add me as a friend, or, were referred to me by somebody else and I don't add you, don't take offense if I don't. I'm in the same boat as his Wheatness. I won't remove the ones I've added and we've never met, but I'm not adding new peeps unless we've at least spoken at some point.

So I expect to have a whole dance card full of FJR peeps after CFR & EOM :D

I have both facebook and myspace. I generally reserve my facebook for friends i have met in person, And share common interests with.

MySpace is where everything else goes. www.myspace.com/galaxyblue.

FBook profile is in my profile under "visit my web site" link. Feel free to say hello.
