Positive visualization is so important in beating this rat-******* disease, and you've got a lot of folks here visualizing a great outcome for your son, Jim. Stay strong.

Adding my sincere prayers for a complete and quick recovery for Jim. I can think of nothing in this life I hate worse than cancer!

I have dodged the bullet a couple of times myself, and know that there will be emotional ups and downs for Jim. It can be beaten, especially with an early start and good medical help. I agree that a positive, fighting attitude will help Jim beat this... we are all in his corner!

Best regards and prayers.

Don

Thanks again to everyone. Jim came home last night after his lung biopsy and first round of chemo. Even though the biopsy was clean, it took almost a week for the lung to stop leaking from the biopsy. I sure hope this will be the last side-trip he has to take. He seems to have weathered the first chemo without undue sickness, etc. Jim

Jim is going well. He's just finishing his 2d round of chemo. He does 2 days of chemo and then 14 days later does 5 day. this will repeat for about 10 - 12 weeks and then it's 6 weeks of radiation and then one more round with the chemo. His prognosis is very good and I have faith Jim will beat this in the end. Thanks for your prayers and keep them coming.

Jim
