Farkleitis is an infectious disease. It can be contracted in many ways...person-to-person, via the internet, etc...almost always from someone already infected. I've even had a "vocal vaccination" from my SO! :D

My list of "infections" include...

Fenda Extenda

Cox Rad Guard

MagKnight tank protector

Moko TOG's

FJR Goodies Bar End Weights

Sargent seats/backrest

Givi V-46

Cortech Mini-Magnetic Tank Bag

Garmin 2720 in a Touratech locking mount on a Stem Stand

Blue Sea Fuse Block

2 Powerlets (switched/unswitched)

CB +4+3 shield

"necessary" winter & summer riding gear

North Face waterproof duffle

Land's End duffle (for V-46)

Alex's rear reflective stickers

And, I'm sure I'll succomb to the following "infections" in the future...

Autocom

Wilburs shock

MP3 Player

Digital Video Recorder w/ appropriate mount

2 rear set Powerlets

1 more "up-front" Powerlet

2 heated vests

FZ1 mirrors

Garauld's light brackets

Air wings

PHID driving lights

Datel voltmeter

If I keep reading this forum, I'm sure there are, as yet, unknown "infections" still out there!

Oh! The humanity...

Just thought I would see if everyone is nuts, or is it just me throwing hard cold cash at this blue bullet. Here is my list (so far).....

<snip>

Wow this **** adds up quick...Smitty
Don't feel bad. It's not your fault. There is a top secret substance mixed into the bike's fluids. When the smallest amount touches your clothing or skin you get the disease. FARKLITUS. It's a serious affliction with no known cure.

Check out this link for my own symptoms. I've subsequently added the Vstrom handguards, a V46 topbox and an espresso maker.

No fluids touched me. However, when I touched the bike the same thing happened. When the credit card finally melted I knew I had to take a break and ride. Oh when will it end??

Here is a short list:

Rick Mayer custom seat

fender extender

Cox Rad Guard

Super Brace

TOG's

hand grips

rear reflective stickers

Wilber's rear shock and front springs

more to come I'm SURE

Tom

I thought I was through, until I saw the Amplirider amp. Might need to add a power strip, too.

'05 FJR, non-ABS, 13K miles

In order of installation:

Moko frame sliders

Walker Holeshots, black

PCIII-USB

Home-made tank insulation

Home-made radiator guard

Alaska Leather butt pads

Spiegler front brake lines

SBS pads

Speed bleeders

Top Gun bar ends

Jastek power outlet

Wilbers shock with remote pre-load

Wilbers fork springs

Garmin 2610 with Tech-mount

We ride two-up some, with a working limit of 600-mile days, more or less.

Bags are on about half the time, maybe more.

Couldn't be happier with a motorcycle. Probably keep this bike another 4 or 5 years. I hope Yamaha or Honda has some killer reply to the Concours 14 from Kawasaki, or I might be buying a Kawi for the first time.

This thread, hell, the whole site is dangerous.........

I've got two farkles and no bike!

This better go well or I'm destined for therapy.

Ya know, I sat down yesterday and wrote up a list - with prices.

I shouldn't have done that. I've spent more on Wonky than my son's first year tuition, housing, and all expenses for college -

But -

She went from this:

To this:

in about - oh - 8 months or so.

I remember seeing your bike for the first time looking very close to this picture, right at the finish line of the Mission Impossible SS1K ride.

Me, I'm wwaaaaayyy to scared to start adding up the farkle frenzy budget. :eek:hno-smiley:

Only the brave dare go there. :D

Well, since we aren't able to see your admin screen for the garage, here's the link for your bike:

Rogue's Garage

Here is my garage

Notice, I was brave enough to enter the cost of each item...Rogue?

I was just too lazy to put in all the prices. :D

Last time I did a rough estimate I was at about $10k into farkles.  Not including the time wiring everything.
