Nice Photoshop efforts. Those who think they've wheelied tend to find that it was a "jump" facilitated by some sort of road imperfection (sometimes with or without the help of pogo-ing the fork springs). When a shaftie actually tries to wheelie, the forces at work will slam it to its side as soon as the front wheel lifts. Which side it smashes down onto depends on the rotational direction of the shaft.
Use lighter weight line there, Bounce... You'll get more bites! :D Go watch that dude who trick rides on the LT for BMW. Mad skillz, mad wheelies! ;)
Sheesh. I was wondering what the heck was going on with Bounce until I realized I was hooked.

They are all kidding. It is the oldest joke around. FJR's doing wheelies, no problem. It is just bad for your forks. ABS will burn the rubber no problem as well.

It is like sending a new aircraft mechanic to get you a bucket of propwash....duh.

The joy yet sadness of being a kid in an old farts body :ph34r: ..wheelie on my brethren :ph34r: wheelie on... B)

Didn't know that one yet.

Back in my 2-stroke days, we used to send guys to the shop get a box of sparks cause their sparkplugs ran out. Most of the time the shop owners would play along and send em on to the next store cause they were fresh out. Great fun. :D

Had an XO once - sent him to look for batteries for the sound powered phone. Took him all morning to figure out a "sound powered" phone doesn't use batteries. He was a commO...

I remember that from my apprenticeship, many years ago. Sent to stores to collect;

1. Long stand.

2. Storeman's clip.

3. Fallopian tubing.

4. Rubber rivets (which I thought was another prank but wasn't).

One of the Bike mag's oh back near August-Oct had a comparison of the new touring bikes. The test rider on the FJR1300 was indeed in the "wheelie" position.

It was there in full color I will try to find it and post the pic.

Have fun.
