Because you know we should have won that game with an easy kick. That and you are pretty sure, like the rest of us, that Wade Phillips will suffer from Jerry Jones trying to make all the decisions with the team.......

Oh well..........

There, I edited it because you weren't there and on the field helping.

It seems that Jerry Jones is trying to be the NFC version of the AFC's Al Davis. :dribble:

Yep, I wasn't there. That might be why I chose the word "they" in the first place. Thanks for the edit and pointing that out.

I have been a Cowboy fan from the start, for all the good and all the bad, so I get to complain all I like. I am still a fan, win or lose.

I'm with you, since the Staubach/Pearson/Dorsett days when I was a kid.

I'm just not buying into all the "Phillips is just a puppet" hype as yet. I'll at least give the guy a chance.

Since I am a Texan by birth, I was a Dallas fan in my youth. I always thought Dallas under Landry had, by far, the best talent in the entire NFL but were unable, under Landry's system, to take full advantage of it. Then, the whole "America's Team" thing turned me off. Jerry Jones came along and now I'm an "anybody but Dallas" fan.

A good season for me is one where Dallas goes 16-0 in the regular season and loses the first play-off game!

Go ______________________ (fill in the blank w/ any team but Dallas) :yahoo:

One thing can be agreed upon.....it's never boring around here.

New season, new coach, we will see.

Hey...I'm just poking fun! :yahoo: At work there are several fans of different teams and sports who emotionally live and die by what "their" team did over the weekend. ("Raider Nation" fans with decals all over their cars and the requisite Starter jacket; Cowboys fans with the Dallas star tattoo on their shoulder and Cowboys belt buckle, etc., etc., etc. The same for many different NFL teams) I understand they want to identify with the team they are rooting for but I love to "tweak" their noses when they begin the, "We did this"- or "We did that"- speak, when most of the close games are in the hands of the officials.

Mike, I know you were poking fun. I am just not one of those you speak of at work. I don't have decals or tattoos of the Cowboys star. Other things, but not that. I only root for them and enjoy the occasional win they get.

Patiently waiting for a return to stronger seasons.

Oh yeah, somebody mentioned T.O. LOL, that will probably be about the biggest JOKE that Dallas has ever participated in.

No hard feelings here, been used to it for a long time now having lived out of state, rooting for the Cowboys and Longhorns. People in Nebraska got nothing better to do besides pick on others. I will try to refrain from using "we" though. It was a slip and they was what I had on my mind. LOL

Been a Cowboy fan since I can remember. In 2000, wrote a song for the Cowboys. Found out through the local recording studio that the Cowboys were bringing the whole promotion deal down to Corpus for the grand opening of Andrews Distributing inwhich the ABC affiliate would host. They got me in with no guarantees that my song would be played. Being a tejano style and this being the "Domingo Show", it went over very well. When Jerry Jones was getting off the bus, they were playing it. They asked me on stage and Jerry Jones asked me for permission to use it on the TV show. I handed him a copy, got my copy autographed and thought they were going to pick it up. Just never happened. :( It was quite a day to remember. You can check it out here. It's the last song of the four. Just a little jingle type thing with an accordian player from SA that is on Selena recordings. It's been played some on The Ticket in Dallas and here locally in S. TX for bumper music for Dallas updates.

As far as Phillips, we'll see how long it takes before he's going ballistic on the sidelines like most of the NFL coaches. Sure was a breath of fresh air to see the two superbowl coaches showing integrity. Dallas hasn't had that since Landry.
