Silver,
I can see you had a beauty yourself. I sold mine with about 31k miles. You had yours for 20 years, when did you get rid of her?
Thanks.. when I traded her in on the FJR in '06. Could not believe you could get more grins with this marvelous platform.

Many Happy Miles & Smiles to ya!

Here's a few pics of the one I sold...
Oh, I see you went with the slower color, instead of the red one I had! Well, at least it was fast until I hit that telephone box! (the speedo needle was stuck on 85, when I got the totalled wreck home)

Nice pics!
I don't now if it was slower than the red! I remember getting buy a Honda Intercepter (size I don't know, but it was circa 1986-87ish whatever they had then) at about 500RPM beyond redline (around 10K rpm) and it was moving!

Nothing like the FJR at that speed though. As the Seca's speedo only went up to 85mph I had to use the tach reading and do some math and calculate a speed of just shy of 135mph! Certainly pushing it beyond what it really should do. 135mph for the FJR smooth as silk. Seca at that speed, holding on for dear life!

this post brings back a lot of memories. most pleasant. had a xs1100 then went to a vision 550 then secas 550, 650 750 then fj1100 then fj1200. favorite was the vision. hit a dog on a dark road at about 120. slid so far that in the daylight you couldn't make out the dog it was so far away. cop asked how fast i was going and i said 35. he said "you slid a long way for 35". i said i didn't go down right away i fought it for a few seconds. he said "how far can you go with your forks folded under the frame and the rim broke in half?". I'm pretty good at wheelies i said.
