Soo I've been riding the heck out of the FJR, in the month and a half I've had it I've already put almost 1500 miles on it, I put about 6000 on my old bike in the ~2 years I had it.

This Sunday I was riding up on Mullholland Hwy. This used to be my "Stomping Ground" because it was easy to put together a fun ~100 mile ride (which was about as far as I would go on the Intruder). I haven't been riding here nearly as much as I've been riding more like 200 miles (longest ride so far was 290 miles) and have been going in completely different directions.

One thing about this stretch of Mullholland is there are no shortage of people taking photos or videos. You don't want to end up on YouTube here because that means you did something bad. :)

One of the photographers got a couple decent shots of me in one of the more popular corners.

You look fat in those pants.

j/k - Nice shots of you and the FJR.

I've been wanting to get some shots of me and the FJR in my favorite twistys but unfortunately just about everybody I ride with can't take a decent photo. :(

Funny you mention it, I've actually lost about 80lbs since I bought those pants and about 40 since I bought the jacket. I'm swimming in them girth wise (but they are just now getting to be long enough for my body). I need suspenders to keep the pants up at this point. I know I need to get new gear (honestly the armor probably won't stay put if I go down as the jacket is quite loose) but I've been waiting till I'm done losing weight before I order me a set of Motoport gear.

Great pics of you and the FJR. Looks like you are melding with the bike. I'll bet you a not missing the Intruder that much.

I kept my cruiser when I got the FJR just in case my knees could not handle the riding position. Put 10K miles on the FJR

since I got in a little over a year ago and about 50 on the Stratoliner. Should have sold it. My riding partner has an Intruder. So

I am still use to stopping every 100 miles but only get fuel every other stop. Pisses him off. :D
