first 500 mile day

on tues, left portland,oregon and rode to bend,then to medford,oregon 336 miles, 6.5 hrs.

thurs left medford,oregon ,rode to brookings, brookings to tillamook,tillamook to portland, 503.9 miles, 12.5 hrs,stopped every 100 miles to gas ,eat,pee,rest

air temp was 45 when I left, 57 to 63 at coast, 100 in portland .

first time I rode that far,longest trip prior was 437 mi.dont know how those iron butt guys do it kudos to them. :clapping:

Congratulations Krotch. Each milestone looms, then as they fall a new challenge comes up. Just learn to pace yourself and ride your ride. In some circles they call that an iron socks ride, if my memory serves.

Bet you look back on it and think it wasn't as hard as you thought it would be...
