first ride

This is how it looks on my new V-strom 650.

We did the first ride of the season with my son (left), swapped the bikes few times. Feels great!

Got the V-strom as a present from my family to celebrate my 50 y of youth. For the new bike I also had to upgrade my riding gear to the Alpinestar Calama Drystar tech-touring 4-season suit. I hope you all are jealous!

Now I can ride city and gravel on Glee and longer tours on Feejer. And for sure have "father & son" rides every now and then.

I am thinking about a 650 Wee "Adventure" version - maybe next year. Highway capable but better than the Feej for rough roads. I know that it is the favored term for the new(er) 650 V-Stroms, but can't bring myself to calling it a "Glee". Have fun with the new ride!

I purchased a new V-Strom 650 in October and had it shipped to my winter residence in the Palm Desert area of California for riding while here. I love the way it corners and the peppy acceleration. Something you might enjoy is the 50 plus mpg. I think you will enjoy this bike, I know I do.

That is me of the right and my friend Jim's bike is on the left. We bought Identical bikes and had them shipped by the same company. That is how we met.

Well, I got my colonoscopy few years back, and several times, so I had earned the bike by now

These are really very nice looking bikes, I would have chosen red if I had the option. The good thing is that they say the white is faster though!

I have a summer house in south Estonia where it is pretty hilly with nice twisty gravel roads. That's the place where I intend to take the full advantage of V-strom
