My wife was so nice to get me a Vholdr video camera for Christmas. If you aren't familiar with it, check them out. Its a very easy way to take video on your bike. I mounted mine on a 1/2" s/s threaded nipple where my frame slider usually sits. I was surprised with the quality of video as the camera is not that sophisticated. The only issue so far is the fact that from what I can see, its hard to edit and add music etc..to the video. I'll keep chasing it and see what I can do. Anyway, if your interested here's my first ride shooting video:

The first minute and a half is kinda slow moving as I got out of the subdivision and into the country roads. Let me know what you think.

thanks

Video looks good. I also have a camera by Hero and use MS Movie Maker to chop the AVI files and create Video/Music projects (MSWMM file type). From it, I can create .wmv files that will play from Windows PC (Windows Media Player) or transfer to DVD as MSDVD file. If you want to play them in an IPOD, you can use XILsoft (https://www.xilisoft.com/) to convert the files to MP4.

Hope this helps.

Video quality, as stated above, looks good. Can you move the microphone; you can hear the engine (fairly well) but I was picking up on a lot of wind noise. All and all it looks like you've got a winner.

Video was some what clear...Although i can say it bored my to death listing to wind a unclear motor sounds.

The other thing is you ran every stop sign..What with that??? California Stop...lol

Thanks for the input....Here are some answers to the questions...

-The exhaust is a Holeshot complete system. Headers to slip on's, removed the cat. PCIII and mapped. Pretty awesome sounding. would be better if the wind noise was reduced.

-The microphone is on the unit and I'm trying to figure out a way to minimize the wind noise.

-Thanks for the advice on MS Movie Maker

-As far as the stop signs, one was a yield, you can't tell...The others are really good jobs at balancing.

Thanks again, Ray

Ray, On my Hero camera, there's a mic setting high and low to cut the wind noise. Maybe yours will have that too.
