Damn, I was wetting my pants watching the video. Called the dealer and didn't get much encouragement about any earlier delivery other than the May '06 date. The AE model I have on order, it it works as advertised it's just gonna be great!!!!

I noticed it only has one headlight lit in the video. Maybe thats Yamaha's way of freeing up some more wattage for us. Simpler (and cheaper) than addressing the alternator issue!

THere was also white stripes on that model. Someone posted pictures earlier of the European model with the white stripes so I guess the single headlight lowbeam is also a Euro feature.

The first moment the bike comes into the video picture, a sub-title states that's it's a Euro model being shown.

Very infomercial style video. And you just gotta dig that announcer. He can sound cool talking about the FJR or laxatives!

I saw a blue FJR with white stripes on the Mexican yamaha page.

The one headlight thing is for shit. I have that on my CBR1000RR and have been pulled over twice just for that reason. Easy way to pull you over and check you out even if your not doing anything. Annoying

I don't like the one headlight thing. Having two lamps on is one of my favorite things about my FJR and FZ1. Frontal visibility is a huge thing to me.

Looks like they spent some effort on air flow for the rider. An adjustable middle fairing and the windshield is closer to the rider. Relocated (lower ?) passenger pegs.

Seems there is a lot to like.
