Laugh all you will, that tape is worth gold while loading a bike in the rain.

I'll save my comment about the traction of rubber on wet wood for the Friday dogpile.

You could paint the wood and put clean sand on it while it's still wet then paint another coat on top for a nonskid deck or paint some truck bed liner on the planks.

I like that a lot. Can you send info,. on both Ramp and chock?

And is the chock bolted to the bed or no?

You have a good selection of toys, and the house isn't to bad either.

Thanks

After the recent video post on unsuccessfully loading bikes to trucks I would enjoy a video of Fairlaner loading the FJR. A tripod and a camera is all that is needed. We want to see how do it the Richard way.

It would be easier to load if you backed the truck into the driveway and have the rear wheels at the very bottom of the slope.

I haven't been to Richard's house, but using the probably level courses in the cinder block boundary wall as reference, it appears that the driveway slopes down from the street toward the house. So, by orienting the truck as he did, it appears that he took advantage of the slope in the manner you suggest.

He can't spell for ****, but he at least tried to indicate as much:
