FJR not idling correctly

If anyone has a clue of what the issue may be please advise. Bike will not idle below 1500 RPM's. Tried to adjust but to no avail. The TPS was replaced in 08. During idle it will miss slightly. When I ride it and accelarate hard no problems.Could it be a vacume leak? Why am I not getting a fault code? Maybe the FI system is compansating somehow??? Got a manuel but it is always easier to find someone with the same issue. thanks in advance guys...........

But will it cause it idle higher? I really appreciate the comment. i love the bike. I sometime get pretty particuler with my bikes. a miss will drive me nuts! I'll check it out this weekend.

Yes... it does alot of strange things. While you are under the Tank, check the Sparkplug wires and Vacuum Boots/ even the small ones used to do the Throttle Body Sync.

DO NOT Over TURN the Idle screw... if you go TOO Far you lost the connection and it is VERY hard to ReAttach.

Redline...I am suspecting your synch. is off. Its interesting that the engine is fine for acceleration and speed, but not idle. I do believe that the throttle bodies synchronization as speeled out in the factory service manual is idle specific (but, I could be wrong). Better check it just in case. :assassin:
